THE GOLDEN WIDOW

Dix Nolan, burned once when Ivy marries another man, still agrees to help her after the death of her husband, but begins to suspect that she has tried to convert suicide into murder for the insurance involved. The men in her life, her younger sister who has grown up to be quite a girl, a traffic in heroin and a second murder all incriminate Ivy- and Nolan right along with her- for the playoff in which Nolan takes the lead. All kinds of physical activity here- not on too high a level.
