The author is herself confined to bed, and this is the outgrowth of her own struggle against rebellion and defeat. Personal, and yet presenting a philosophy out of which everyone can take something constructive for better living. Much of the material has appeared -- one gathers -- in periodicals. Now collated and translated, it should serve a real purpose in its own specialized field. Published in England under title The Glorious Bondage of Illness.
