STRENGTH OUT OF SUFFERING

A self help book of a rather unusual sort, in that it is directed to the needs of the invalid, and the invalid's friends and family. The author is herself confined to bed, and this is the outgrowth of her own struggle against rebellion and defeat. Personal, and yet presenting a philosophy out of which everyone can take something constructive for better living. Much of the material has appeared -- one gathers -- in periodicals. Now collated and translated, it should serve a real purpose in its own specialized field. Published in England under title The Glorious Bondage of Illness.
