FREDDIE

There seems little excuse for this, which is illustrated by Donald Gunn. The comics are the comics and should not be sold for more than ten or fifteen cents if at all, unless book-form cartoon stories are immeasurably better than the newsstand variety. Freddy works in a comic strip in the daily newspapers, his heroes are the Texas Ranger and the Ace Agent, who work in the same building. The boy comic-strip hero gets mixed up in the adventures of the older ones' plots. Cheesy!
