THE MICROSCOPIC WORLD

This was reported in the juvenile section, page 444. But, in case you overlooked its adult possibilities, we are calling it to your attention here. I know of no other book that so satisfactorily covers the mysterious world the microscope has revealed to scientists and laymen. Boys in their early teens and men of all ages, -- and some women - will enjoy it. All phases of the microscopic world are covered, there are numerous fine photographs throughout. Not a how-to-do book, but a generous sharing of the discoveries of science, the significance, the fascination.
