THE CIRCLE OF GUILT

Again a combative stand on an explosive subject uses the case of one teen age killer as an illustration of the whole wide area of delinquency today and the ""constellation of factors"" to be considered. Called in as a consultant on the case, Wertham makes his familiar charges against the comics, movies and their stimulus to violence as well as the injurious influence of the Puerto Rican homes where, in poverty, color prejudice is an angry reality. With the boy's sanity a moot point, there is also the appeal to a larger jury too- the general public.
