The path information takes before reaching us from radio, phone, and TV is given primary importance as the roles of meteorologists and immediate/extended forecasters are explained. Some of the technical names of those machines are hard to say (try ""anemometer""), but their difficulty is buffeted by easy-to-grasp definitions (the gismo above ""measures wind speed""). Clear, concise labels and a breezy sense of excitement make this sunny book one children and their parents can learn from and put to immediate use.
