A TWIST OF SAND

Readable, if not always believable, this first novel of adventure off the coast of Southwest Africa should appeal largely to a masculine audience. Heavily plotted. When in World War II Lt. Commander Peace sails through these wild seas on a mission, he vows to return to these waters which- though uncharted- offer vast riches. This he does, becoming involved in a network of blackmail, adventure and exploration. A fresh touch and the steady impact of adventure recommend this book to readers with a strong taste for danger.
