YOUR WORLD IN MOTION

Yet another explanation of atoms and their energy as it makes our world and the universe go round presents an efficient survey of the natural world from the point of view of motion. Starting with the general Mr. Barrow accounts for part of the vast network of everyday seen and unseen motion- from the movement of trees in the wind to molecules in rock- and successfully presents the idea of a world that is never completely at rest. From this oasis he proceeds to enlarge on molecular motion, the source of energy, air and the weather, engines and the origin of fuels, light and electricity, sound waves, communications and so forth. A well worked study that should prove useful as supplementary reading and fascinating material where the exists.
