SINBAD OF THE COAST GUARD

True story into fiction form as the exploits and adventures of the of the Coast Guard Cutter Campbell during eight exciting years are brought together in book form. was slipped aboard and adopted by his fellow shipmates -- and in the adventures recounted he displayed his loyalty, courage and endurance under all kinds of conditions. Sinbad would like the way in which he is pictured as a grand dog, not too extraordinarily different from anyone's favorite dog. The stories are illustrated with rather striking red and black illustrations by George R. Grey -- also of Coast Guard -- and there's a sea worthy appendix. But on all counts the price is high.
