by George S. Bush ‧ RELEASE DATE: June 19, 1968
This book maintains the straightforward approach and competence of others in The Strange World series. Predictably, however, a book on insects is up against a great deal of competition. Bush meets the challenge head on by covering many of the most popular topics--ants, butterflies, dragonflies and wasps, etc. The illustrations are three-color wash drawings which are carefully precise, yet artistic. If you like photos better, the Life Insects does about the same job.
