ONCE IS FOREVER

The war has badly shattered the lives of four young people. The road back seemed long and hopeless until, with three other young people, they learned to work together at various things. In the California house available to them, they discover many things:- how to live together and work together and get good fun out of things. The author creates real people that are good without being stuffy. Mystery in Blue by the same author showed a good sense of plot and responsible values. This book has those qualities too, though the plot is more complex, the characterization more ambitious.
