THE SECRET VOYAGE

Every boy likes to draw pictures and would like to see his figures come alive, so here you are. Our young hero has a magic Chinese brush and finds himself in the days of sail through his own drawings. There are terrific fights with pirates and a horrifying Davy Jones rises from the sea. Gordon Grant's careful sketches of sailing craft are grand but his pictures of the boy seem strangely disappointing.
