SECRET UNDER ANTARCTICA

A sequel to Secret Under the Sea (1960) re-introduces marine investigator, Dr. Hoenig, and his son Robby, who have been working in contact with whales through Control Caps. But Dr. Hoenig decides to send Robby back, after a bull whale is attacked and their Caps are stolen. On the way he is shot down and left on an ice-cliff, taken still further down by a Tropican band where he becomes privy to one man's mad dream of blasting the ice shelves to change the entire world into a tropical paradise... Probable science and possible fiction are well integrated and assimilated into a likable story for boys.
