For years Grace Noll Crowell has been writing meditations and poems of a devotional nature. Many of them have been published in book form; perhaps even more in popular magazines. Accordingly she has a loyal group of readers who have her messages comforting and uplifting. The present volume of nineteen meditations based on post-resurrection experiences of the presence of Christ are partly poetic form, partly in prose. Mrs. Crowell has a gift for the felicitous phrase, the poetic expression. However, many will find her writing too sentimental and her of expressing Christian truth too conventional to be inspiring.
