GRACIE ALLEN FOR PRESIDENT

This is a natural for the Gracie Allen fans -- and the roster of her radio listeners is immense. Also, it may prove to be the comic relief needed in time of stress, in this vortex of speculation about the state of the world and of this nation. Gracle sets out to resolve the problems of the third term in her own inimitable way, with her own ticket, her platform, her program. Read it for the puns, the non sequitur nonsense -- that is if you like it. Refreshingly silly. The publishers are launching the book with some clever sales material, posters, stickers, etc., and the radio program will provide impetus.
