ARTISTS SAY THE SILLIEST THINGS

This autobiography of the critic and painter is the fourth volume in the series which forms a panel on contemporary art. In impressionistic, reflective, and benevolent manner de Bois tells of his life in the art world here and abroad, of changing theories and trends, of colleagues, of his own work. Many of the leading moderns pass through the pages, and there's some graceful and pleasant anecdotage of the brush boys. Sale largely limited to those interested in modern painting.
