A whole series of interviews with representatives from each position and even if you don't know your flanker to the left from your split end to the right, there's a glossary and you can red-dog along. The basic question is ""How do you play your position?"" and you can get a good idea of what it's like as a quarterback with a blitz on, or feeling left of center facing a forearm linebacker. Responses run the gamut from shrewd Roman Gabriel--""You just have to be a little slyer than they are"" to nonchalant Bernie Casey--""As for myself, I look upon football as an exciting thing to play game-wise, but many aspects bore me to death."" The soothsaying players here include Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, John Mackey, Jim Grabowksi, Mick Tinglehoff, Willie Davis, Andy Russell, Herb Adderley, Billy Lothridge, Henry Stram, Otto Graham and Allie Sherman. This will probably be around for the kick-off.
