THE CORPSE IN THE CORNER SALOON

Asst. D.A. Jeremiah X. Gibbs crime-cracking the sex murder of Fleurette Val, discards the obvious and pursues some pretty fine points in his examination of her associates, her ex-husband, and the habitues of a Third Avenue (New York) saloon. If fairly sensational on the curves (dirty pictures, voyeurism, etc.) this is still smart in its angles- but may offend stricter standards and tastes.
