THE TALE OF TINY TUTAK

A pint sized Eskimo fantasy describes a very young hunter and his first kill. Politely, Tiny Tutak asks two seals and a polar bear whether or not he should shoot them, but they say please don't and promise to help him instead. When the time comes all four of them push down a boulder of ice atop a Walrus's head. The cozy drawings for this, small and parka snug, are by Sven Skauge, but he has made them all so endearing, even the walrus, that we were sorry to see it killed. Back sewn.
