THE GOOD-FOR-NOTHINGS

The story of Chanticler and Partlet and what happened after they went gathering nuts comes back with a bounce given it by Mr. Fischer, the Swiss artist whose work is getting an increasingly wider audience here. This time the full color pictures of the animals have been done in a rough crayon technique in a manner that plays delightful tricks with outlines and keeps its pages surprisingly light. Poorly stitched.
