MY HEART'S IN THE HILLS

More about Barbara Estwicke and her mining engineer fiance Bill (see Summer Gold 1955) takes them through another season of romance, quarrels and work, and aligns them more definitely for the march down the aisle. Again the setting is the North Carolina mountains where Barbara has put her inherited land to work as a girls' camp. Bill helps, but one of the girls has a crush on him that upsets Barbara's emotional equilibrium and for a time she turns to forester Bob Giles for consolation. However Bob's practical and loveless view of life and Bill's forgiving humor soon send her back to the right man and the right kind of working partnership. Predominantly sentimental and fawning.
