THE MYSTERIOUS TRESPASSER

A good, tight adventure story set in the Rocky Mountains. Andy Marvin, proud owner, in spite of his youth, of his own patch of farm and ranch land, suspects that the unknown trespasser on his land may have something to do with the rumor that old Professor McCoy left gold before he died. Following the clues he uncovers with Sally, the adopted daughter of his Uncle Wes, Andy has a run-in with Bert, a sinister figure supposedly working in the interests of Mrs. McCoy and the released convict Garland. Several narrow escapes, the discovery that Professor McCoy was murdered, a terrible forest fire in which Andy is able to save a wounded man's life and the life of his horse, Sunny, and the apprehending of McCoy's murderer bring the story to its exciting climax.
