MOUNTAIN PONY

Andy Marvin visits his uncle's ranch in Wyoming and runs into a few unsavoury characters who kill animals in and out of season in the great national preserve, of which his uncle is warden. Good friends, a fine mountain pony, and chase after chase down to the last triumphant moment, make this good, modern Western adventure with some stock characters that do not try too hard. A good twist to the ending, however, and you have rousing horse, man and boy values. There's a girl in it too, so it's not limited to masculine tastes only.
