MULLIGAN'S SEED

A number, very much of a number, not so much about Stew Mulligan's seed--get that name--but about the Shereef of Onan, heir-less in his old age and down to his last two flasks of sperm in a semen bank stored in liquid nitrogen. Cryoeugenics, you might say. One of them is to be used to impregnate the lovely Leelah from Beirut after she is clinically deflowered in one of those special spas in the Bernese Alps. Only Stew gets the idea of stealing the sperm and demanding a one million dollar ransom which is delivered by Leelah. During the course of this transaction he loses his puissance while his ""stone gay since the age of ten"" brother Lester goes straight and they are captured; Lester gets away first but at the end he is left to stew in his own juice, with Leelah. The most you can say for this is that Donald Westlake wouldn't have thought it up.
