BEER FOR THE KITTEN

Good rowdy fun among college faculty -- but not for your puritan. There is almost no thread of story, but a connecting link in the events of the school year as they affect everyone from the president down to the instructors and even the students. Threatened scandals are averted; politics pull wires behind the scenes; departmental antagonisms add spice to routine; the wives play their part. There's a bit of ribaldry in the dialogue; the characters are thoroughly good company; and there's more than a generous dash of sex in education. Public libraries 'ware!
