DUET OF DEATH

Tremulo on the terror motif as two separate stories tell of death haunted females. The first is of a young girl who insists on tracking down the suspicious circumstances of her father's death to a tragic ending; the second of a shock paralyzed woman who fights inarticulateness and immobility to find her would-be killer. Emotional rather than deductive, detective processes, this has suspense for its most important ingredient. Quality class.
