A CHILD'S TREASURY OF THINGS-TO-DO

This succeeds where most books of the kind fail -- even comparatively young children, with some adult aid, can use the book -- and beginning readers can do a good deal by themselves. A convenient collection of things to do with inexpensive, safe materials found in every home. Nothing needs to be bought. There are things to do with a group, or by a child alone. There are gay gifts, party ideas. Sick-in-bed occupations, short projects and long, old and new games. Consideration is given two year olds as well as ten year olds, making it a good family book. The paper is waterproof, wrinkle resistant and extra strong; the binding of sturdy cloth and board; the type is clear and the pages attractively arranged with color and black and white on each page. The how-to-do- it pictures are clear and the diagrams easy to follow.
