Fiction, with factual base, and a first rate story. The author of Waterfront Beat (which was a newspaper story) tells now a story of commercial aviation, of the bitter competition waged for business, the jealousy over new developments, the sporting sense that sustains the best men in the field, the challenge to prove themselves in every aspect of aviation, put up to the men who represent the commercial manufacturers as test pilots and salesmen. Good adventure, whether one is interested in aviation or not. But for anyone who is -- it is tops.
