LITTLE GOLDEN AMERICA

Two famous Soviet humorists survey these United States -- so reads the subtitle. The authors, with absent-minded Mr. Adams and his speed-loving wife acquire a Ford and tour from New York to California and back, recording their experiences and their findings. They record that capitalism is forming storm troops against future revolution, that money is the stimulus of American life, that America is dangerously ill, that fear is omnipresent, that there is no goal. All in all, they prefer Soviet Russia. To see ourselves as others see us can be entertaining and this is good reading and full of interesting comments. A book for specially picked customers.
