ONLY GENTLEMEN CAN PLAY

Up the Wall. . . and over, following Matthew Craig (British of course) and Lora Ekaterina from the time of the Penkovsky Papers through the increasingly muddled years after -- since they fall in love with each other which takes precedence over their double agentry -- Craig is ostensibly working for Standish of SIS while she's one of Kudriatov's pawns and both seem interchangeable at times. . . actually Standish and Kudriatov are in and out of each other's pockets. All that's missing is the CIA and actually they're mentioned too. Not original perhaps, except for the troubling thoughts of further collusion, but as the title indicates, gentlemanly and suede-glove smooth.
