LUCKY DOG

A book for all dog lovers, and a good bet for plus sales. Short. Sentimental. Told in first person, by the dog, who reflects the people around him. His mistress is unable to have children, and adopts this mongrel as her ""little Boy"". She dies, as a result of her reckless rescue of Bobbie, and the balance of the story tells of Bobbie's reckless throwing away of his own life -- and of the happy ending on the other side.
