SPOODLES: The Puppy Who Learned

Spoodles is a cross between a poodle and a spaniel and he belongs to a nice family and especially to Connie. But one day he was left all by himself, and got into every conceivable sort of mischief, turning the house into a shambles. He was scared they wouldn't love him any more -- it was much worse chaos than any child could contrive. But after a lecture, everyone is sure Spoodles understands and wont do it any more and they all still love him very much. If you have a dog that need reassurance, read it to him, too! Irma Black is a familiar name to mothers who read her columns on child care; she always tells a good story, with a theme keyed to child level.
