ENJOYING PETS

Practical advice on the care of a very wide variety of pets from dogs to snakes comes acceptably and readably from the author of Every Child's Book of Animal Wonders (1951 p. 185) and Fun at The Zoo (1951 p. 662). An introductory chapter points to the economy measures to be taken and the many benefits pet owners receive in terms of enjoyment, companionship and so forth. Then each of the following chapters treats different kinds of animals and their special problems- for example, how to choose a puppy wisely and with an eye to its personality, what to feed hamsters, talking to parrots etc. Excellent for younger animal lovers too.
