Johnny Marshall, hired by Los Angeles lawyers to dig out the innocence of one Joe Hedley, indicted for perjury, is confronted with screwy inconsistencies when a dancer and her policeman husband, hoods and a narcotic rocket land on top of him as he tries to find new evidence. His multiple-pet-named wife runs interference for him, he straight-arms for the police and washes out a double score. Peremptory.
