SPINNING FOR SALT WATER GAME FISH

A companion volume to Spinning for Fresh Water Game Fish a revision of his classic earlier book, brought out in 1954. Here ""Mr. Spinning Himself"" capitalizes on his trailblazing in salt water fishing with light tackle and unusual equipment- but he has hung up some records despite the doubters. This book has plenty of how-to-do-it aspects, from selection, rigging, casting, to lures and bait -- a complete home course for the novice, and a PG course for the expert. Interspersed throughout are incidents, episodes, exciting adventures in many waters of how and where the big ones were caught (or got away). They are almost all here:- striped bass and blue fish off Rhode Island; bonefish, tarpon and snook off Florida; west coast salmon, sailfish, marlin, whip rays. Good armchair reading for off season evenings for any fisherman.
