THE JEW IN AMERICAN LIFE

A book that should have educational value in the fight against anti-semitism, in that it will correct the too general types of misinformation by supplying positive data in place of errors. As Mrs. Roosevelt says in her introduction:- ""They make up a comparatively small percentage of our population but their contribution is in some cases out of proportion to their numbers""....A picture book of outstanding Jews who have contributed to American life in the fields of art, literature, education, economics, business, labor, sports, science, the professions, journalism and agriculture. It is questionable, however, whether books of this type reach the markets where they could help.
