IN THE MORNING OF THE WORLD

From the Greek myth of creation on through the pattern of Greek mythology, this is one of the most successful recapturing of the fascination of those many times told tales. There's Prometheus, and Pandora, there's the golden apple won by Paris, there are myths of Apollo and of Artemis, of Athena and of Hercules, and many others that should appeal perenially to all youth. Try it with 12-15; but don't let the upper grade high schoolers miss it. Beautifully done, in singing prose.
