SPRING IS

Domanska's usual brittle geometrics are softened here as she choreographs the seasonal celebrations of a brown dachshund. Green and yellow bees and birds, a whale, and an oversized snail romp with him through a ""showery, flowery, bowery"" spring and a ""hoppy, poppy, floppy"" summer, and he is joined by a few more sedately playful gray and white rabbits among the swirling leaves of a ""wheezy, sneezy, freezy"" autumn and the snowy expanses of a ""slippy, dripppy, nippy"" winter. A visual almanac, slight but spiffy.
