THE ANIMALS CAME FIRST

Pictures of animals and a Christ story combine to make seasonal merchandise in a variation on the story of Christ in the manger and for homage of the beasts. The story is told in the manner of an old folk tale, as the animals collect a troupe to inquire into the nature of a mystery. The parade of the animals to the lighted stall where the Holy family are resting has the clarity and charm of a lithograph.
