JIM, THE CAT

Jim the cat finds a home with the Holdens as a pet for their ailing daughter Lucy, but not without some difficulty. Mr. Holden is a dog fancier and wages an active campaign that almost leads to shooting when he suspects Jim has wounded one of his pointer puppies. Evidence to the contrary saves Jim and improves Lucy's health though Mr. Holden's actions in the course of matters are unbelievably ogreish.
