SO SOON TO DIE

Lionel Amblin is hired for a 1000 pounds to kill Waring, a girl with no connections beyond a fiance in America, and finding her too young- and too pretty-to die so soon, decides to learn why she is valuable. He attacks her but delays her demise, inadvertently kills another woman, then assuming the alias of a friend of her fiance's, removes her for a weekend in an isolated inn where his ugly instincts and intentions are betrayed.... A young lady alone and afraid again provides some unremitting tension and a split-second finish by the Yard.
