COUNTRY SCHOOL

Tony, still too young for school has been looking forward to starting in at the old country school along with his older brother and sister. He resents it when the old one is torn down and a new one built, but a morning's visit to the new building changes his mind. Tony finds a little girl who's lost her mother and in helping her, he gets acquainted with the school's various departments. Aided by Louis Darling's realistic two-tone wash drawings, Mr. Beim's direct story presents another convincing solution to a special problem.
