by John Godwin ‧ RELEASE DATE: June 5, 1968
A would you Believe It or Not catchall of treasure islands (particularly Oak Island in Nova Scotia), cloven hoofprints in Devonshire, footprints of the Abominable Snowman, along with some of the hoarier figures of this subliterature--Nostradamus, the Man in the Iron Mask, Houdini, la Dixon, Rhine, and phenomena--flying saucers, the Marie Celeste, etc. etc. etc. Mr. Godwin is an Australian newspaperman and this has a merchandise presentation with 150 or more photographs. . . . Fakiry, in a sense, since almost all of this material has a long history of deja vu in book and magazine form.
