Mr. Godwin is an Australian journalist (and other other world book writer) who claims that he was primarily interested in why this became the age of Aquarius and that's why he researched and wrote this book. But except for the two opening conclusions (we need ritual -- it provides community; and we're frustrated by what's really happening) you'll look tar for any further occulturation and what you will really get is a reconstituted rerun of the leading practitioners (Zolar, Righter and Omarr); augury (Jeane Dixon and Joseph DeLouise); witchcraft (Sybil Leek -- who else); scientology (L. Ron Hubbard); Edgar Cayce, the Fox Sisters, Eileen Garrett, Rhine, etc. etc. The most interesting, (perhaps because it's the least familiar) is the bio of Paul Twitchell who is a healer and has acquired a 500,000 following since 1965. Sometimes Godwin overcontends -- the ""literary fame"" of Robert Masters (half the team of Houston and Masters, former acid, now mind researchers) on the basis of Eros and Evil? For the most part he just assembles a lot of para-paraphernalia.
