THREE COMEDIES

John Nestroy was a Viennese playwright of the mid-nineteenth century, whose satire aimed at the heart of the new bourgeois culture and Gemutlichkeit. Still widely performed today, Nestroy has brut bubble and bite; still a very special taste.
