Another voice in the chorus of Latin-American policies, and practices, which Cassandras the dire results of not heading the warnings to date. In psychological, economic, and political array, there are here presented the need for fair treatment of our Latin-American neighbors, for eliminating condescension, for understanding them according to their standards rather than ours, for dealing with them on equal ground. There is a list of prejudices, misunderstandings and misconceptions, of the mistakes, not only in business dealings but in ramifications of the Good Neighbor policy; of the hurdles to mutual benefit and the threat of strained relationships. Examined, too, is Argentine with its capitalistic traits, Brazil and its future as a world power, Chile and the benefits to the people in its Popular Front, the growth and importance of Aprismo and its fight against imperialism.
