LITTLE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

A story that takes a Little League team all the way to winning the championship at Williamsport, illustrates a social rivalry too-but one which hangs on thin threads. PeeWee Roberts whose father manages a factory in Banktown, and Rocky a laborer's son are chief protagonists, whose misunderstanding springs from another worker's transfer which Rocky thinks Mr. Roberts has engineered. As it turns out he had been sent to a more important and temporarily secret job.
