WALLACE, THE WANDERING PIG

A wanderer (fate and fear impel him), Wallace the polka-dot pig finds three loving mistresses, two beery bums, a pork-eater, and a ruthless hog-stealer before releasing the last man's doomed, imprisoned pigs and ending up in the arms of his rightful owner, Christina. Wallace has a rollicking time and manages to be an appealing yet totally possible pig; his chasers and keepers are widely varied and fun to spend a book with. Summertime farmtime hide-and-seek amusement, direct and sure to please.
