LET'S DANCE A STORY

A good idea this, but not wholly successful in the carrying out. The start of the story might be considered as a very first ballet book, and with the widening of interest in teaching of ballet to small children, this step by step process, complete with how-to-do-it marginal sketches, should be popular. The idea of dancing a story, too, is a favorite one, but in the choice of the story about the young elephant, Homer, that gets stuck in the mud, the dancing idea also bogs down. There just isn't enough drama in the story to carry over into the dancing.
