LITTLE GALOSHES

An original story by the authors of the popular Cowboys and Indians and Farm Stories and other volumes in the Golden Books, large and small. Somewhat slow motion action, fitting almost better into Picture Story Books though the text must be read to get over the idea that the small boy was known to his animal and barnyard friends by his galoshes in winter, his bare toes in summer. He has a salutary experience when he slips out one day without the galoshes, and finds himself unrecognized and apparently friendless.
